Anca Maria Mosora was born in 1978, in Brasov, Romania. She studied Philosophy in Bucharest, is master in Philosophy and is now preparing her Ph.D. with a dissertation on Phenomenology.
Her first novel, Archangels Don’t Die, was very well received by the critics and rewarded by Cuvântul magazine with the Prize for Literary Debut. In the literary top of 2005, innitiated by Revista 22, she was on the second place at the prose debut section. In November 2006 she represented Romania at the European Literary Gates festival in Bratislava.
