Granddad is dead. "He is asleep", says mum, "forever".
Jori listens to her very carefully. Then he thinks about it. But he still didn’t understand. Forever. That is a long time. Jori has to listen to many explanations. Granddad is in heaven now, with God, in the cemetery, in his heart. But for Jori, none of these explanations ring true. He misses his Granddad. Jori remembers a story his Granddad always told him: A story about the night sky which is full of holes. And through each of these holes someone who has died looks down to earth. When this person is particularly happy then you can see their happiness all the way to earth. As a really bright star. Now Jori knows where his Granddad is.
