Hello everybody! And welcome to our new site! We still have some work to do around here, but be sure to stick around because we’ll bring you the latest news from our agency.
Now let me fill you in with what we’ve been doing in the last few weeks. The things are developing here very fast and due to the little space I have I will be short:
Our agency was present at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2009 as it has been every year. The fair was very interesting and the hot topic at the fair was the digital rights. Everybody has seen the newest gadgets in reading books and this is taking by storm the literary world. Already in Romania a project has begun to sell digital books. Presently our agency is working at obtaining the digital rights.
We were very happy to meet our old friends & clients at the Frankfurt Book Fair and we also had the chance to make new ones. As we’ve decided to expand in the Eastern Europe we took a little trip to Poland and afterwards to Serbia at the Belgrade Book Fair. In Poland we’ve visited some of the most important publishing houses and we started the business there too. In Belgrade we were pleasantly surprised to find a very wide book market and we’ve met with the most important publishers from Serbia.
We currently represent a part of our clients in other countries like Poland, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia and soon we’ll expand to other territories like Greece and Turkey.
Gaudeamus Book Fair which took place between 25th and 29th of November in Bucharest brought us some wonderful news. Some great books which were negotiated through us were launched by the Romanian Publishers.

1000 languages from Ivy Press was published by ART Publishing House.
Gulliver from Walker Books was published by ART Publishing House.
See Inside Human Body from Weldon Owen was published by ART Publishing House.
A Christmas Carol from Walker Books was published by ART Publishing House.
